REVITALIZATION

Some are called to the frontline, all are called to the battle

“Share each other’s burdens, and in this way, obey the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2

Missionaries on the field often battle loneliness, fatigue, weariness, and burnout. One way to help combat this is through connecting them with partners who can:

  1. Pray for them. Prayer is the only way for survival in such a dangerous and demanding calling. “Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” (Isaiah 40:31)

Become a prayer partner today.

  1. Encourage them. Sometimes all that is needed to fight loneliness is a well-timed card, letter, email, gift or video chat. We must remember that missionaries give up their home, security, support system, friends and extended family to answer the call of God on their lives. Their sacrifice should not be overlooked or forgotten.

Send an encouraging note today.

  1. Network with them. Raise awareness of the needs of missionaries by inviting them to speak at a service or event. Connecting people, churches, businesses, and groups to missionaries is what Boots on the Ground International gladly does. Many of the Partner Missionaries return to the States on occasion to advocate for their ministries.
